Off the Pitch Week in Review is a new weekly feature on Match Fit USA, intended as a timeline-style roundup on events surrounding American soccer that have occurred everywhere but the field in the last five days. Following the events of the week in other areas, be they business, marketing, stadiums, etc., is relatively simple if you dive head first into newsreaders and aggregators; but not everyone has the time and patience for those things, and there are sometimes occasions when our memories fail us and we lose track of what actually happened and when.
I can't promise this feature will always be comprehensive, but I'll certainly do my best. Also, there will be no gossip or rumors, just verified happenings. If you think I missed something, feel free to let me know in the comments or shoot an email to matchfitusa@gmail.com.
