There are times when this whole blogging kick seems like a lot of trouble for not a lot of reward, but then something comes along that makes the work seem so worth it. Match Fit USA was recently given the esteemed honor of sitting down and interviewing U.S. Soccer Federation President Sunil Gulati.
MFUSA: Thanks for taking some time to talk to us, Mr. Gulati. Are you comfortable?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: Jack? CONCACAF President Jack Warner? Is he here too?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: Alright, then... Now, Sunil, the FIFA Presidential elections are coming up. Can you give us any hints on how the USA will be choosing who to vote for?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: Surely Mr. Warner doesn't make decisions for the USSF?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: So you're saying that you do whatever Jack Warner tells you to, because you're in his pocket, and he has you so trained you can't express yourself in public?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: Mr. Gulati, as an American soccer observer, I find it disturbing that Mr. Warner, a proven crook and known peddler of corruption, has such a level of control over the USSF. Are you sure you're fit to lead the US?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: Are you going to resign in protest of Warner's vice-grip on American soccer leadership?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
MFUSA: What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Gulati: You’d have to ask Jack about that.
