- Jason Davis

Naturally, the USMNT draw with Argentina on Saturday night is the lead story on this episode of the American Soccer Show. Jared and I cover the game, from tale of two halves to the budding stardom of Agudelo and Chandler, while mixing in a range of other topics.

We start out with a review of Saturday night, asking all of the relevant questions. The first half was bad, the second have was pretty good - what does that mean, and how much credit does Bradley get for the changes he made? Much of the fan based leans towards the negative. Never being satisfied is part of being a fan. I do my best - while probably failing - to apply some perspective.

Ben Hooper from Bumpy Pitch and The Original Winger joins us in the second segment to give us some background on the brand. A unique American soccer culture is just beginning to take root, and Ben gives us an idea of Bumpy Pitch's role in the growth. We also hit on which American players best fit the Bumpy Pitch style, and how the brand's shirts manage to show up in random places like sitcoms.

A few more thoughts on the USMNT leads into talk about MLS on FSC on Friday nights. The first installment was a blast from where Jared and I were sitting. If the broadcast can catch on with the hardcore fans, there might be something special about it in the social media age.

We close out the second part of the show with Jared's Twitter segment; this week, it's "MLS candy."

In the last segment we hit on Garth Lagerwey's rant, the result of the controversy surrounding the retiring of Jason Kreis' number nine, read a plea for help from a soccer fan in Tennessee who wonders where the promotion is for USA-Paraguay, and debut the new American Soccer Show theme. It's brilliant.

Follow the show on Twitter, send us an email (show@americansoccershow.com), like us on Facebook, and help spread the word by whatever means works. Go buy a Bumpy Pitch shirt and let them know we sent you.
