CONCACAF held the draw for this summer's Gold Cup today. The United States was drawn into a group with Canada, Panamá, Guadeloupe, and will visit Detroit, Tampa, and Kansas City during the opening round.

There's not much here worth getting excited about, with the brackets set up for the eventually, yet hardly guaranteed, USA-Mexico final at the Rose Bowl. Where there will be 90,000 Mexico fans.
USA in Detroit against Canada should be fun. They'll certainly want to avenge their '07 semifinal loss, which was marred by a controversial offside decision.
